European Employment Strategy - its launch and its application

The aim of my thesis is to describe the launch of the European employment strategy, its development and its targets, the means used to achieve them and also the attained results and the progress in the domain of employment in the European Union over the last few years. I mention the Employment Committee, the consultative committee that cooperates with the Member States and prepares everything which is related to the European employment strategy. The financial instrument is the European social fund that contributes to the amelioration and to the increase of employment in the European Union. Particularly, I introduce the reached progress in the Czech Republic and in France and I compare these two countries
